Lokelani Rose Soap

Lokelani Rose Soap

Maui's island flower, Lokelani (rose of heaven), is the damask rose, known as the queen of roses, with a wonderful fragrance and used in perfumes.

Damask roses were brought to Hawaii about 200 years ago and are said to be the southernmost roses in the world. They have a unique, wonderful fragrance that combines the rich, refreshing scent of roses.

We wanted to create a soap that was unique to the Heart Island of Maui, so we luxuriously captured the scent of Lokelani.

A blend of essential oils from Lokelani (Damask rose) grown in Kula at the foot of Haleakala, lavender also grown in Kula, and Iliahi (sandalwood) grown on the island of Hawaii.

More than 100 Lokelani  are used in one heart-shaped soap.

Ferns are also considered sacred plants in Hawaii and are said to affect human emotions.

This blend is made with tinctures of over 50 types of ferns from 12 genera, and connects to the heart chakra.
